Traveled by grab: roughly past an hour, here we are at Rancas Upas - Reindeer petting time! Entrance = Free! Carrots only at 10,000rupiah - time to feed the fellow reindeer. Apparently i wasn't expecting to be bumped in the ass by a reindeer.... do be alert that some of them might be quite aggressive, they will even start chasing because you have carrots!!!!
Maybe because we venture there on our own - we could only find the reindeer section to explore, otherwise it was all little stalls and trees and empty ground. Asking the information counter wasn't really helpful as they don't understand english and we can't fluently speak in Bahasa. But time flies!
We actually spend 1 hour plus with those reindeer feeding and running away from them. Not forgetting to mention that the mountain view was spectacular. Combination of the blue sky, forest, reindeer = best chemistry ever.
