Hello temple hopping day! So we got this tour on Viator. It was honestly quite... bullshit. It's might as well, we just rent our own transport to hop around this places on our own than to pay for this 'tour'...... Okla maybe the plus point is tour guide for the temple is included lor. Just that the time restriction... i dont like it. Nevertheless, the places we covered are pretty much uhhhhhh-some. I must say this is one of the few fulfilling places that we covered in Jogja so far.

Prambanan Temple;

Not forgetting to say...... the weather, temperamental. It was chilly in the morning but in the afternoon? Holy mother of cow. It's insane and it's burning!!!

.
.

Exiting prambanan temple, there's so much more to do within the area!

Archery - feel like some hunger game/got shit going on hehe.

 Classic swings

There you have, prambanan temple in Yogyakarta.

Arrived at Mt. Merapi aka Mountain of Fire and hopped on to a jeep - hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!

Warning: highly not recommended for people who suffers from serious motion sickness.

The is EXTREMELY, LUDICROUS ROCKY. Nevertheless, how can one not love jeep rides!!! Still remember my last jeep ride was in Mt. Bromo but it was nothing compared to this as our driver is sooooo awesome because he drift drift drifted like Tokyo drift!!!!!!!!!

There's like 3 different tour - the short, medium and the long. Of course we took the short one as we were a little bit time tight though the price difference isn't alot.  The difference in the tour is not only the length of the trip but also the different drop off points - of course the longer once cover more corners of Mt. Merapi.

Short tour: 45,000idr

First stop : Museum Sisa Hartaku

Actual furniture that were ruined by the eruption.

.
.

Second Stop: The Alien - Like - Stone

Nothing much to explore at the stop, just some picture taking session.
.
.

Third stop: Bunker Kaliadem

Apparently during the eruption, 2 men tried to escape into the bunker but forgetting there were a tiny window gap and that's how the were melted inside. P/S: There was a  foul smell when you enter the bunk and it's dark and you can feel the moist in the air.

.
.So scaredy cat Yong didnt wanna enter as she felt uncomfortable and emotional (ha ha ha)

.
.

Not forgetting some other random stops our driver guide stopped to let us to pictures. Oh and did i mention our driver is so freaking awesome?!?! His photography skills are so up level?!?!?!??!?!?!??!!??!?

WLAOOOO EH, SOLID AH!!!!!!!!!!

and there he is our poooooorrrrr-fessional driver x photographer (k pic super shitty but that's our only pic with him)
.
.

Also, the initial plan was to actually hike Mt. Merapi but this two loser animals can't make it cos they're lazy as hell! Guess i'll have to wait till the next time to hike this wonderful mountain.......

Nevertheless, Lava tour was dope!

Random temple stop on our way to Borobodur Temple. Super awesome vines!!!!!!!! Love it, so 80-90s feels.

Welcome to Borobudur!!!!

The A list temple!!!

But first let me just complain about how dumb the system can be. So apparently for all this popular temples you can get a student price if you present a student card. My question is, you requested to see a student card but then make such a hassle and question so much about the card. I mean, you ask for the student card but you don't know what school is that, is it legit or it's just a blank card????? Worse they still ask you to log in your school website this and that - it's just too much of a hassle and it's honestly stupid........ Even our tour guide thinks it's ridiculous and time consuming. So what if there's a long ass queue behind and everyone decides to use student card. LOL, well done to whoever who created this system.

Upon entering the temple we met our personal tour guide, he called himself woody woodpecker and he is a joker, love him. also another damn pro photographer, hahahhaa.

Let our tour begin!!

Is it all the tour guide's photography skills so darn good!??!? By the way, all those pose that we're doing it's not because we damn hiao though we are but all these poses are all instruction by uncle woody woodpecker!!!!!

Motive to this temple was to catch sunset but.... it was sooooo cloudy all we saw was clouds, clouds and even more clouds. Not even a glimpse of the sun-light booohooo. BUT that doesn't strike out the extraordinary experience of Borobudur!

x

Before everything else, let me just whine about this..... RUNNING MAN WAS HERE LIKE FEW WEEKS BEFORE WE ARRIVED?????!?!??!?!??!?!!?!?! OMG HOW UPSETTING IS THIS, SO NEAR YET SO FAR. I COULD HAVE MET THEM?????????? UGH. *NON STOP FLIPPING TABLES*

Anyhows, Timang Beach was part of Discover Your Indonesia tour, we customized our tour after jomblang cave to use the transport to get to timang beach. Rough ride i must say. Klia was whining through the whole bumpy ride, freaking out. Muhaha.. and poooof, mandatory shot of Timang Beach's iconic view - Gondola.

Still operating by man - tales said  that if you ever get splashed by the wave while traveling on the gondola, you're lucky!!! Well, i've got splash while waiting for the gondola, like that counted lucky not ah?

and apparently, if you're driving  a car, you can't drive straight into Timang Beach due to the nasty bumpy road throughout a rough 10mins ride? There will be riders waiting for you and you'll have to pay them 50,000idr (to and back journey) so it's like $5? Bit tad pricey but when you arrive at Timang Beach, it's going to be WORTH IT.
ugh freaking sucker for jeeps!!!!!!!!!!

UGH!!!!!!!!!!! I love mother nature!!!!!??????!!!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD.
